Data Alignment Inconsistency in IOProc

  • Subject: Data Alignment Inconsistency in IOProc

Dear readers,

When an audio interface reports a virtual format such as “Unmixable 2 Channel 24 Bit Signed Integer Aligned Low in 32 Bits”, I have to feed “Aligned High” data in the IOProc to head correct sound.

I suppose what “Aligned Low” means “0x00 LSB MSB 0x00” (for 16bit source). But I have to feed “0x00 0x00 LSB MSB” into IOProc.

I think I must missed something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
