Hi,

I’ve just installed the latest public beta iOS 13 and for sure it still does
not correctly recognize the USB audio accessory name, still always says
“Headset Mic”.

This is a big problem for us as we make USB microphones and we check the name
of the device to decide how to deal with it in our AudioTools app.

I would think that the core Apple apps could do the same, why are they
overriding the actual USB name?

Best,
Andrew Smith
