Connecting two iMac - but losing audio

  • Subject: Connecting two iMac - but losing audio

Hi all,

Hopefully this is the right place to post this question. I have connected two
iMacs via a thunderbolt cable and am able to add the second 27” monitor when
using the command F2 function, but lose audio when doing so. I installed AU
lab and tried to connect the two using this, and while it appears to be
functioning fine, still no audio. The first iMac is a late 2015 retina running
10.15.5 and the second iMac is a late 2012 also running 10.15.4. I can also
map a drive without issue. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks so much,
Tyler
