Reset CoreAudio Cache?

  • Subject: Reset CoreAudio Cache?

I’m stumped.

I was experimenting with user-space drivers and causing a number of crashes. At
a certain point my driver no longer is being loaded by coreaudiod after "sudo
launchctl kickstart -kp system/com.apple.audio.coreaudiod”. If I change the UID
of the driver then it loads. The only thing I change is the UID. coreaudiod
sees that the driver is there but doesn’t load it. It seems to be blacklisted.
The original UID causes no problems on different installations. Is there a way
to reset this? Is there a cache that I can clear?

Devin
