OmniORB on Mac OS X w/generic GCC

Hi,

since there was no reply on the omniORB list I'll try here:

Has anybody got omniORB (which works ok with the Apple compiler) to run
with a generic GCC 3.4.x? The build system uses some Apple-isms when it
detects Darwin and fails with the generic GCC; just want to check
whether someone else already got this to work before I start dissecting
the omniORB make system...
