You want the Darwin streaming list, this list is about
Darwin-the-operating-system. But yes, Linux clients should be able to
play those streams perfectly. You need mplayer and the mplayer mozilla
plugin (possibly along with a host of extra libraries, depending on the
exact codecs you want to decode). As far as Red Hat/Fedora is
concerned, the easiest way to get everything you need is by using Dag
Wieers repository (http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/) along with
freshrpms.net.
