I am trying to tweak the pthreads implementation for darwin. So, I was trying to recompile the Darwin 8.0 pthreads library, and hence libc library. I am currently using my laptop running 10.4.1, and I seem to be running into a number of compiler problems. These range from simple things like the Makefile trying to use gcc-3.5, which doesn't exist, to a number of files requiring machine/ cpu_capabilities.h and ppc/cpu_capabilitites.h, neither of which are available in the normal install. Has anyone had any success with this?

Thanks,
- - Brian
