Mac OS X 10.2.8 SDK, XCode 2.2 and in6_var.h

With XCode 2.2, I am still experiencing the "oops, we did again!" problem with the /usr/include/ missing headers.

Namely, the in6_var.h file in /usr/include/netinet6/ referenced from /usr/include/netinet_in_var.h is still missing in the Mac OS X 10.2.8.sdk.

Since it took 6 months to fix this problem the last time (it was with some ProjectBuilder release IIRC and people at Apple were not affected because an internal package did fix this issue), is it safe to copy the in6_var.h header from a SDK where it is present?

Bug report filed (Problem ID: 4313108).
