Compiling darwin/xnu/bsd/hfs

Hello Everyone,

I am a complete newbie on this one, so I hope you could bear with me. This
is my first time to lay hold on anything related to MAC OS...

All I need to do is to debug through the darwin's hfs code. (i.e. when I
insert an HFS-Plus-formatted CD, i want to debug through the hfs code to
better see how it works).

What I did was I downloaded the files found in
http://gobsd.com/code/darwin/xnu/bsd/hfs/. I didn't download any other
files (is this ok?).

I would like to ask how I could compile this in Xcode. (i.e. do I just add
the files in a new XCode project, etc. etc.)

I'm sorry if this seems so elementary to you. I had been searching through
the internet, but I haven't found the solution yet (most probably because I
don't know exactly what to search for).

Any help would be appreciated. A million thanks.

Desperate,

Raneil
