Well, how are you getting the drive objects in the first place? Do you use IOServiceGetMatchingServices() or IOServiceAddMatchingNotification()? the problem is doing the actual S.M.A.R.T. check, i.e. i'm quite sure the routine PrintSMARTData() in doesn't work if it gets passed an kIOAHCIBlockStorageDevice instead of an kIOATABlockStorageDevice as expected. thanks, juliian |
