See the "stub" bit, the library contains symbols, but no actual code,
like the libraries in the SDKs. See the ranlib manpage. (-c, I think,
but I've not got it in front of me).
Thanks for the heads up Peter, I guess it boils down to having a
valid X11.root.tar.gz file, it looks like it's been pulled, any way
to find someone who grabbed a copy of it before it was pulled so I
can get it and continue my building??
