I think Apple make great computers, but I can't buy it for the moment I must accept a restrictive agreement. Apple will certainly not put all its softwares under an open source license, so my development environment would be Darwin or a Linux distribution.
First, is it possible not to pay for Mac OS?
Second, if I work on Darwin, will I be able to compile easily for others systems than Mac OS and use an application as Blender for example?
