1) are the man pages that the xCode documentation window shows in a

The files are generated using rman, located in --
/Library/Application Support/Apple/Developer
Tools/Plug-ins/DocViewerPlugIn.xcplugin/Contents/Resources/
(The man page for it comes with X11)
I can't find any other man sources on my system, and the output of man
and Xcode/rman look identical (my copy of printf(3) does have long
long in it).
I do find out-of-date or incomplete man pages *incredibly*
frustrating, and the suggestion that Google is a viable alternative to
maintaining man pages just seems completely ignorant. However,
removing them would just make the problem worse (which is worse --
incomplete documentation, or no documentation?)
