Hi Anees,On Feb 23, 2007, at 12:14 AM, Anees Alappat wrote: Dear All, I'm working in IMAC (OSX-Tiger 10.4.8) platform . Iam having two IMAC machines.I have a 0 raid setup in each IMAC. In IMAC have an option for adding 3 hardisk and creating a 0 raid setup. I have a Movie with a 1080i format[30FPS]. I successfully run this movie from 0 raid seup using QUICK Time player in each stand alone IMAC machine since this format is not playing from normal hardisk because it's need hard disk reading rate is 118MB/S. Then i tried in network setup, that means i mounted this raid system using network [AFP ] and run this movie using Quick time player but it couldn't play more than 5seconds. I also ensure that my network is capable for handling morethan 120MB/S data. 1)How can I make the this 1080i format to work in netork using Quick Time player? 2) Is there any methods to play this 1080i [30Frame per second] through network?
QuickTime isn't part of Darwin, so it's off-topic for this mailing list.
Please check < http://lists.apple.com> for the appropriate QuickTime mailing lists. There's also the macnetworkprog list that specializes in network programming.
If you can isolate the problem to just networking without QuickTime being involved, it's possible someone here could help.
