Hi,

I recently downloaded http://code.google.com/p/macfuse/ and reading
the documentation it would appear that the necessary API needed for
using URLs to refer to filesystems is a private. This means that
if I wish to use sshfs I need to use the command-line.

I few questsions:
  - are there any plans to make the necessary API public?
  - is there any reason why this functionality is not made
    part of filesystems, instead of being registered in
    a separate folder?

Should I open a bug for this?
