Open Firmware is no longer used on Apple products. As part of the transition to Intel processors, recent systems use EFI to support booting.
That said, the Open Firmware spec was originally published as IEEE Std. 1275-1994. But it was not reaffirmed as an IEEE standard so the spec is no longer available from that organization.
