It's unlikely that what you want is "the power source"; it seems much more likely that you want to infer something from or about this power source.


Perhaps if you were to rephrase your question in a more specific fashion, e.g. "how do I work out how to trade off power vs. performance in my KEXT", we could give you a better answer...
