Well, I think it's a good question.
Best thing is to wipe it completely and start with a Leopard install
DVD. I think I used another Mac, firewire, and Target Disk Mode to
install the software onto an iBook. my kids' iBook G3s are running
10.4.x, whatever is the most recent thing. And Apple's Software Update
has yet to break them (knock on head for luck)...
I think that developers should be aware of the Target Disk Mode for
software installation.
