Hi,
I'm getting io_registry_entry_t for whole disk.
After that i did IORegistryEntryCreateCFProperties() to get a dictionary of the properties.

I can use this dictionary to get size of disk, preffered block size, BSD path (/dev/rdisk1) etc.

But as the GDB tells me this dictionary contains 17 key-value pairs.

I want to know what other info I can get from this dictionary?

Could it give me the hard disk model number, serial number, or any info about the volumes and their paths that this disk contains etc?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wishes,
Nick
