The Global Flags Editor (gflags.exe) on Windows allows you to
associate a image with a debugger to debug said image, so whenever
that image is launched as an executable, you immediately are in that
debugger. It's handy when you're not the one in charge of launching
the service, but you do want to debug it when it does get launched
(possibly with log & continue breakpoints).
Is there such a thing for Mac OS X/Darwin?
With gdb on the commandline you can attach to any process while it is
running.
