libdwarf-20090330.tar.gz is downloadable from the net but it doesn't compile in Mac.It works perfectly on Linux.So one doubt, does dwarfdump comes by default with Mac OSX or you have to download the Xcode for this?

Apple unfortunately does not publish the source code for its DWARF utilities (such as dwarfdump and dsymutil). I have no idea why, and my requests to open up the source code of at least dsymutil when reporting bugs about it have gone unanswered.
