After searching for a bit (in HIToolbox/Events.h), I can't seem to
find one. It's been my experience that the eject key is treated as a
'special' key, so I'm not surprised.

You'll probably have better luck taking this question to Carbon-dev or
Cocoa-dev. (But perhaps to save you the trip, I'd create an event tap
that monitors every keyboard event, and that should tell you what
event you'll need to send to simulate the eject key.)
