The Darwin Team is proud to announce the release of the Darwin open source components of Mac OS X 10.6 and Xcode 3.2. They are available at the usual location below. We are still processing some projects, and did not want to hold up the bulk of the release, so the following projects are coming later:

AppleUSBIrDA
CF (Lite)
autozone
clamav
xnu

Any estimated date for the release of CF (Lite)?

Getting access to the source code of CF (Lite) would help checking if it's possible to work around the CFMessagePort 32/64 -bit bug in 10.6 without having to wait for a system update.

It's really useful to have access to all the open sourced part of Darwin the earliest possible.

For instance when Apple made the move to Intel, having access to the db source code helped work around a byte swapping bug in Mac OS X without having to wait for a fix in a system update (which eventually came).
