Terry,
I had seen the post earlier , and was hoping if someone who had used
Unix domain sockets on this version of the OS , could give some
insights on issues faced.
The descriptor passing seems to fail in 64-bit mode , with sendmsg
returning EINVAL when using CMSG_* macros to populate the message
header structure . There seems to be a portability issue here.I see
that you discussed a similar issue earlier in http://lists.apple.com/archives/Darwin-dev/2008/Feb/msg00033.html
.
Can you please let me know the version in which the patch would be
available ?
PS : We could have a w/a , but I wouldn't want to make any changes in
my portable code.
Thanks.

Hi,
I needed some info regrading descriptor passing using Unix Domain
Sockets.
Do we support the use of the new member "msg_control" of the msghdr
struct , instead of the older "accrights" ?
Thanks.
