discussion. apple mentions a lot
of features already, so why not this one?

No, this is not relevant. This is about Snow Leopard not running on
PowerPC machines, which is now known and confirmed by the Snow Leopard
specs.
The poster's question was about whether Snow Leopard would support
Rosetta, allowing it to run PPC binaries on Intel hardware. This is
not confirmed by Apple, but several Mac "rumor" sites say that in Snow
Leopard, Rosetta is an "optional" install.
