Help on shoutcast player

Hi All,
I would be very sorry if my email is not in the correct mailing list.
I am trying to play shoutcast radio urls from my Mac book.Now for AAC plus file it downloads the play list files but in case of mp3 files it launches its own mp3 flash player.

For windows they have explained as how to prevent this launch and to configure your player to play those files even for mp3.Has anybody tried out the same?Then please let me know.
