Since these functions appear to be unused on the Windows build, I
assume this change is correct, however I wanted to see if this was the
correct course of action, or if perhaps a Windows-specific build file
might be missing in the distribution?
Nothing missing; the Snow Leopard code simply includes changes that
were not kept in sync in the Windows build. (The ARM code doesn't
build on any iPhone OS, either.) Your fix is probably good, but be
warned that there may be other problems elsewhere.
