Hi.

Can anyone tell me if there's any way of getting external power source amperage and voltage from the Power Management subsystem? Getting power change notifications and consumption data from a battery source via IOKit is straightforward, but I need to get the same type of data for instances when no battery is present (i.e. a desktop) or when a laptop is charging.

IOKit will show when an AC / external power source is present, but I can't find a way of just getting the current being drawn from the charger / power cable.

Can anyone shed any light on this?
