thread id numbers? Same as in Xcode?

Hi all,

Xcode's debugger, and the crash reporter, give numbers to each thread.  Is it possible to get that same thread number?  I'd like to be able to log it (in debug only).  It would be useful if my logs had the same numbers as Xcode uses, to facilitate debugging.
