Hi all,
I have a customer who is having a problem on some of his machines where one of my apps won’t launch due to an "unsupported exported symbol kind” error. This is puzzling because the app runs on many thousands of other OS X machines from 10.5 to
10.10 with no problems at all. Googling around for "unsupported exported symbol kind”, you can see in the open source where the error message is produced, at http://www.opensource.apple.com/source/dyld/dyld-132.13/src/ImageLoaderMachOCompressed.cpp.
But there is no other reference on the web that I can find. There is no other information in the crash report, like what symbol is failing.
Does anyone know what might be causing this?
