procfs and installing 6.0

  • Subject: procfs and installing 6.0

Sorry about the bogus post this morning but now I have a relevant
question...

I noticed while compiling xnu that procfs is not built by default, in fact
when I checked it isn't in the MASTER.ppc and it doesn't have a Makefile
associated with it. When I added it to the MASTER.ppc and gave it a
Makefile it would not compile because it seems that it is out of date. Is
procfs not going to be supported under darwin?

Also, I built and installed the 6.0 kernel (without procfs :/) and tried
to boot but ran into an error which said there was a problem loading
IOPCIFamily.kext. I rebuilt it and replaced it but got the exact
error. What other packages should I be building when I upgrade the kernels
to avoid getting errors like this?
