Hi,
In my porting of some software from Solaris to 10.2, I
found that the twalk(), tfind(), tsearch() and tdelete() functions
were missing. I can't seem to find these functions and their
header search.h is not in /usr/include. However, these
functions have been part of FreeBSD for quite a while and
they are listed in the 10.2 man pages.
At this point, I simply downloaded the necessary source and
header files from FreeBSD to make my own library. However,
any insight into where these functions might be, why they might
be missing or when they might be included in OS X would be appreciated.
Incidentally, I ran into similar problems for hcreate(), hdestroy()
and hsearch() functions.
Thanks
John Robinson
