The error:
Protocol error: uncounted data discarded
indicates that the tag does not exist on the server.
Now I use the server:
:pserver:email@hidden:/cvs/Darwin
and tags like:
Apple-201
(Apple-201.42 and Apple-201.42.3 don't work).
Again, if you use those tags, verbatim, they won't work. CVS only
likes '-', not '.'.
I would stick with something closer to what your stock kernel was built
from, because there have been bug fixes and improvements over the
earlier versions.
