You and Gautame Godse should compare notes. Look for the thread
"kernel multi-tasking algorithm" in the archives for this list.
There's not much that is *Right Up To Date*, other than the code (which
you are welcome to peruse <
http://developer.apple.com/darwin>). There
are also copious reports from CMU on Mach scheduling which, while not
directly applicable, will shed light.
