recently, so yesterday I ran this question by him. He suggested that
you try the following:
1. In the Network preference panel, enable both AirPort and built-in Ethernet.
2. Place AirPort above Ethernet in the port list.
3. Configure the built-in Ethernet to use a static address on a fake subnet.
4. Connect your debugging machine to the built-in Ethernet, and
configure it to use a static address on the same subnet.
This should allow you to use AirPort for your network operations
while kernel debugging over the Ethernet.
