Hi everyone,
The Panther Server document at

"For improved file and networking system performance Panther Server
now supports asynchronous I/O"
Asynchronous I/O has been working just fine for a long time now. So
just what are they getting at here?
It's possible (I haven't checked yet) that the kernel for Mac OS X 10.3
now supports the "asynch I/O" APIs (aio) from (Free)BSD.

Justin
