File Close Event on Mac OS X

Dear All,

 

I want to get the file close event for any of the files in certain configurable folders. Is there any existing API or sample code provided by Apple for getting that event?

 

If not, from where should I start to get the details of getting the file close event? Or do I need to write a filter driver?

 

Any pointer in this direction will certainly help us.
