sharp stick :-}
Last I looked, Solaris was System V.4-based, while Darwin is
FreeBSD+Mach based. It's all just software of course, but it seems
like a lot of work for little reward. Why are you thinking about this?
What, in particular, would get "merged"? Do you mean something like
shuffling two decks of cards together, or making a marble cake?
