DLIL filtering in Tiger?

Hello,

Does anyone know if the DLIL packet filtering is going to be supported in Tiger? The whole NKE API was branded as private and unsupported since 10.2, so is there any chance that this API is still present in Tiger? And if not, what is going to be the best way of filtering packets on the protocol/device levels (like in DLIL) in Tiger?
