Hi
Are the following functions supported in Tiger?
vn_open, vn_close and vn_rdwr. Also is it true that funneling is not
needed?
If no, are the following do the same thing under Tiger?
vnode_open, vnode_close, ????. Are these supported under 10.2 or 10.3?
If no, what are current functions to have low level access to vfs?

cd to the top-level directory (xnu-xxx), and execute "make cscope".
Then use cscope(1) (see the man page); it will help you find what you
want.
