where this may occur if there is a socket filter installed and it is
filtering inbound data.
Stephane, were you running any socket filters (kernel extensions)?

I've seen this strange kernel lof record in system.log on 10.4:
"kernel[2] sbdrop - count not zero"
What is it supposed to mean?
Can it be related to a sudden stop of a TCP transfer/download?
