Heads up on wait queues

Hello,

I'm writing a device drivers and I'd sure like to use the wait_queue API, though it's rough documentation consisting of ~300 words won't cut itself into ~800 lines of kernel-level code. If someone can point me out to a kinder introduction to the wait_queue API, I might not lose my head over this.
