What do you mean by "integrity test"? What would you do if it was not integral?


As a general rule, things don't just get randomly corrupted. If a root-owned extension
is damaged, there are system-wide problems that you're not going to be able to do
anything about.


As the old saying goes; never test for an error you can't handle.
