building msdosfs

Hi,

I'm going to write a simple VFS KEXT, so I decided to get started with
msdosfs. I downloaded the source tarball, but, surprisingly, haven't
found a way how to build these sources and get a suitable KEXT module.
Looks like there are no makefiles in the Apple/Darwin world. So what
tools should I use instead?

Unfortunately Apple documentation about VFS KEXTs looks strictly limited. :(
