Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has had success out there with this. We are interested in booting are Intel Macs off a WinPE or linux image off the network. With the latest firmware update Macs are able to read the CD of these we put in the machines and boot off them. Now we just need to get it working off the network. I have messed with the bless command and tell it the image file off the tftp server we have. Seems to download the file but does nothing with it.
e.x. "bless --netboot --booter tftp://our.server.com/peboot.img --SetBoot"
I have also been trying to mess around with boot-device, boot-args, and boot-file....
Anyone try this and having success, or anyone have any suggestions for me.
Thanks,
Matt
