What version of Mac OS X are you trying this on? This should work on all Intel-based Macintosh computers, but for PowerPC-based computers it only started working in 10.4.6. However, on 10.4.6 and later it works a charm (at least on the machine's I've tested with).


btw The SockPathMode I used was 511 (0777); you don't need to specify S_IFSOCK.
