seeking overview of scheduling on dual-core (or more)

Howdy!

I'm teaching an OS course. Now that Mac Minis are coming with dual- core Intel CPUs by default, some students are asking how OSX handles scheduling for multi-CPU platforms. Poking around, I wasn't able to find an answer.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Sean
