You should always 'make install' and use the full set of kexts generated
along with the kernel binary; this regenerates the KPI symbol linkage.
Sounds good, except I've never figured out how to build kextsymboltool
from sources, so I live with the kext files already there and its worked
sofar (fingers and toes crosses). I have a binary that works for Intel,
but not for PPC.
