Hello guys,
                     I want to retrieve hostname of router from POSIX
api. I have already tried gethostname but it returs hostname of local
machine.

So kindly advise me.

Do you mean like:

	printf("dcr2-so-0-3-0.SanFranciscosfo.savvis.net\n");

Or did you have a a different router in mind?

8-)

You will need to define your problem a little more fully before anyone is going to be able to help you...
