Thanks Andrew,

After running nm on the driver module, yes it does list the sendPacket
and receivePacket, but not implemented by its own class. It is using
from the parent class N19IONetworkController from which it is derived.

As the source is not yet made available by the driver writer, i would
try to post this query to him....

In the meantime, i will try to compile the kernel for DDB, and if
successful, would use the COM port.
